            Why don't you want live with your father and take care of him? He is an old man and is at his last few years of life. He be living alone right. You could take your wife, Francoise to live with you and your father or you could bring him to live with you. You can't blame him for burning all of the diaries that your mother kept. They could have brought back a lot of happy memories that made him sad.
